Villa Talon, is an imposing aristocratic estate established in the 16th century at Volta Reno in Argelato, 14 miles from Bologna, ideal for meetings and corporate events. The impressive monumental park, occupying over 25 acres, provides a perfect setting for exhibitions, fashion shows, conferences and other business events. Villa Talon is open from April to July and From September to July and From September of mid-October, and can be rented for one or more days, depending on the complexity and duration of the event.

The spaces availablefor events at the Villa
With its diversified spaces, Villa Talon offers the clients the opportunity to organize corporate events in the huge monumental park, which extends over more than 25 acres, and in the refined interior rooms on the ground floor of the Villa. If the event is a conference or a meeting, in case of rain, it will be possible to move inside the Villa, and proceed without interruption.

The spacious, diversified rooms in the Villa can accommodate up to 500 people for a buffet, cocktail party or coffee break, or 250 people seated at tables. The variety of the settings makes it possible to organize the event based on the number of participants and on the activities planned. For example, the spacious Loggia with its 1000 sq. ft. is ideal for a gala dinner, to organize a conference, as a training area or to hold a press conference; while the smaller halls can accommodate smaller meetings, exhibitions and networking events. There are a multitude of options at your disposal, considering that the Villa has 5 rooms of different sizes, all elegant and ideal for the most exclusive events.
The monumental park for large-scale expositions
The magnificent park is ideal for large-scale events such fairs and festivals attended by the public, expositions of large machinery and vehicles (tractors, antique cars, racing motorcycles…). Along the façades of the Villa are two immense lawns that can accommodate banquets, receptions and buffets in the open, for hundreds of guests. On the side toward via Lame, the magnificent Prato Serraglio lawn offers 375,000 square feet. It is rectangular in shape, and is bordered by a double hedge; it can be accessed from the park or from the tree-lined driveway that leads up to the Villa. With its exceptional size, it is the ideal setting for any outdoor event. On the back of the Villa, a more protected, intimate space is provided by the Prato del Pozzo lawn, screened by the park and open toward the west. It is an elegant, exclusive space that lends itself particularly well to the organization of a fashion show or concert, for example at the end of a meeting.
Guest parking
The parking area covers a large section of the land, originally used as a paddock. It is separated from the rest of the estate and protected by high hedges. This keeps it out of sight and at some distance from the areas dedicated to the reception so as not to create a disturbance during the banquet and celebration.

Five rooms in the Villa can also be used to host events, all located on the ground floor:
- The Loggia is the largest of these, with an area of 1,015 square feet (58 x 17.5 ft.),
- The Sala delle Grazie is the second largest, measuring 840 square feet (35 x 24 ft.)
- The Sala San Francesco comes next, measuring 665 square feet (34 x 19.5 ft.)
- The Sala da Pranzo, or Dining Room, is the smallest and most intimate dining room, measuring 540 square feet (24 x 22.5 ft.)
- The Billiard Room measures 665 square feet (34 x 19.5 ft.)
The outdoor spaces are:
- The Prato Serraglio lawn, measuring more than 375,000 sq. ft.
- The Prato del Pozzo lawn, measuring almost 200,000 sq. ft.

Villa Talon does not operate its own restaurant, but the kitchen is equipped for catering, with ample space and all the connections for burners and ovens, at the disposal of the company to provide the catering service for your meeting or business dinner. The property does not offer its own catering service, but we can suggest a selection of suppliers of known quality and reliability that you can contact for a tasting and cost estimate.
